Originally from the Lake District, I studied at the University of Oxford, during which I spent a year abroad as an assistante in Clermont-Ferrand in the Auvergne.
After my degree, I completed an MA in Translation at the University of Bristol while working in commissioning and editorial roles within academic medical publishing. I am now based in Manchester, north-west UK.
